Men's 1st XI
Continuing the improvement that they showed at the end of last season where they won
15 from 22 league games to finish runners up in Division 3SW. The men's 1st X1 gained promotion
back up to Division 2 South. Here with a host of new and young talent pushing for places alongside more established players is a perfect example of Royston Hockey Club youth development bringing growth and success, well done lads, keep winning.
Men's 2nd XI
After winning promotion in dramatic style in season 2010 the team were forced to
re-build as several of the senior players were absent through injury. A tough
season in 2011 with not many wins, however they continued to improve throughout the season.
Although they finished second from bottom they survived relegation and after last years experience they are doing much better this year in Division 4 South West again with players returning and new younger players moving up into the side.

Men's 3rd XI
After a couple of tough season with back to back relegation I believe that the 3's have turned it around this season and are now starting to enjoy their hockey playing in Division 7 South West.
With our club focus on youth development the squad is a more senior side, and is starting to get other senior players coming down into the squad form our first and second elevens to continue playing rather than the usual retirement that so many players have done in the past. Keep going guys.

Men's 4th XI
The development side, the men's 4th XI had yet another successful season not only were they
competitive in their league, finishing 5th with 12 wins, Many of the
youngster made good progress through the season and several of them successfully
made the transition to higher teams. Currently coming into Christmas 2012 they are our most successful side topping Div 8SW
