HA Veterans Cup
The Johnson Matthey Royston Vets were unfortunately knocked out of this years HA Vets Cuo by West Herts Vets. The game ended 2-2 and Royston lost in the penalty shoot-out. Oh well there's always next year!!
Royston Veterans Hockey
Old and slow, but still play a mean game...
Royston Mens Section run a very successful Vets side, playing several friendly games throughout the year. The summer games produced some mixed results, but a great time was had by all, especially in the pub afterwards.
This season Royston Vets recieved very generous kit sponsorship from local firm Johnson Matthey. The money went towards new shirts for the squad, which were proudly worn by the team in their last game against West Herts vets. Thank you once again to Johnson Matthey for their support.

The Royston Vets are also seasoned travelers, and have in past years gone to the Isle of Man for the International Club Tournament in Douglas. It's a great time out, good hockey (well the other sides that is...), watch some of the TT racing, and party very very hard! 2006 saw "Royston Hockey - Men in tights", it was not for the faint hearted and does carry a government health warning! Check out the side....
Above the Vets on the last IOM Tour...
The Vets in action in a game against Letchworth Vets. Royston dominated the first half but then seemed to go off the boil in the second half, with the score eventually ending up 2 - 2.
