Annual Vice-Presidents Day

No VP's day this year....

With the 50th Anniversary coming up this year, it was decided not to have a VP's day, but to rather have them attend the 50th bash.

So it looks like the 2007 VP's side is going to have to stay up here for another year. But sharpen your weapons, it will be the 'big clash' again next year....

As always we must thank the Vice-presidents for the very generous contribution they make to the club, both in the giving of their vast experience as well as their financial donations. The monies from the VPs goes towards the development of our Juniors, and testament to this development is finding players that have come through from our Junior section now playing in both the top Mens and Ladies teams.

In place of the normal VP's day games, a small mini-tournament was held for the juniors on the astro at the barracks. It was a great morning, apart from having to play in pouring rain, but all who took part seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. Mums and Dads thanks for your support as well. As with the normal VP's day, the Neville Brown trophy for the most improved junior player, was once again presented by Judith Brown to this years deserved winner Amelia Pilgrim. Amelia is developing into a very great player, and I'm sure it won't be long before we see her working her way up the senior sides. Well done!
